Block Party takeover on 160th Street between Melrose and Elton Avenues for a celebration of our Bronx with community, culture, and fun!
This family-oriented festivity will include music, poetry, canvas painting, activities in the local community garden, a visual exhibition, retro game-play, face-painting for children, and live performances. This year our thematic acknowledges the contributions of women pioneers who have played a major role in the development and positive growth of the South Bronx, as well as today's young shining stars, with an awards ceremony honoring their legacies (list in formation).
