The 1 Bronx Festival promotes inclusion, community, and dialogue and works toward a future without discrimination where all people have equal rights under the law.
The 1 BRONX FESTIVAL is produced by the Third Avenue Business Improvement District in collaboration with Out Bronx,the Office of the Bronx Borough President, the Bronx LGBTQ Caucus, Dancing in the Streets, Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance, and Clearview Festivals.
It's Showtime NYC! is a program of Dancing in the Streets, with funding from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, the Mertz Gilmore Foundation, Howard Gilman Foundation, Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation, New York State Council on the Arts, Club Culture Foundation and the Foley Hoag Foundation. This program is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts. Dancing in the Streets is supported in part by an American Rescue Plan Act grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to support general operating expenses in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
